I have been dieing to get this up on the Internet since i started to see everyone else Eve-Spaces, which i found on “CrazyKinux’s Musings” and the “I am Keith Neilson” blog, that has a great collection listing for most of the participants. I know that this post is almost a months late, since most of the original blogs about Eve Spaces started appearing in late February around this time. Now on to the show…
Reasoning behind my setup:
There are many people out there who see my setup and say its over kill or its not needed. I have to agree with them for the most part but for someone who is a day-trader part-time, who runs a web hosting business, who is an avid gamer, and etc; i could go on with 10+ other reasons for why i do it, but the simple point is that this setup actually works for me. I work to fund my hobbies.
Setup Specifications:
4 Towers + 1 Laptop: 2 x Alienware (i7-975s, last of the pre-Dell merger units) + 2 x modified PCs (AMD X3s) + 1 x Dell XPS M1530 Laptop.
6 Monitors: 5 x Acer X193W+BD Black 19″ and 1 x Acer X223Wbd Black 22″ (2 moniters on each Alienware, and 1 on each other machine).
KVM System: KavoomKM (This lets me use 1 keyboard and mouse for all machines, basically making each monitor an extension of my main machine, just with their own CPUs.)
Keyboard: Logitech G15 v1 (G19 on order) + G13 Gamepad (not really used for EVE, and the screens on these guys make a world of difference when you use Vent or TS, to see whos talking and leaving and entering the channels.)
Mouse: Razer Naga and Razer Mamba
TV: 32″ Dynex 1080p Plasma (use this connected to my laptop to view DOTLAN Maps while i play. I dimmed the exposure on the screen so you can barely make it out what i look at. I rarely do this however unless im roaming.)
My Toon Setup:
I generally do not have all 7 online at the same time. I usually have primarily my 3 combat toons + my Orca toon (for combat operations is a cloaked mobile repair facility and carrier of my backup ships), or i have all 7 for either home/sector relocation and mining operations.
Edit: Toon Names have been omitted for various reasons
As my notes stated i will eventually cut down to 4 primary accounts. But after having left several years ago to play World of Warcraft again, quitting and coming back i needed the most methodical way to skill up multiple toons at once.
Well im done ranting for now, i wish you safe and happy flying.

You definitely win the award for most awesome eve space… I am so jealous, sitting here with just a 17″ MBP, and not even an external monitor, keyboard, or mouse…
